That was quite confusing, and utterly fascinating. Thank you.
(There is something you wrote I can't get out of my head. The attraction of Play for children is NOT in the pretending. It is in what the pretending allows the child to do. Think about it, you don't actually need to climb inside a cardboard box to pretend you're in a tank. You pretend to be in a tank simply because it GIVES YOU THE EXCUSE TO CLIMB INSIDE THE CARDBOARD BOX. That's what's fun, being in a box. It feels like some sort of revelation to me, I don't know why. It just does.)
By the way (and I love how the expression is actually used to refer to something that's quite unrelated, English language is beautiful that way) I've only just finished going through your Time Spanner tag. Fascinating doesn't even begin to cover it.
And what show would that be, if we may ask? Best of luck either way.
ReplyDeleteThanks/ It's called "Jonah Non Grata". Here are the tags: http://slepkane.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Jonah
