Annoyingly I've forgotten what it's called - "Happy Cherub" or something. I can't find any other record of it online either. It's definitely by Dali though. He really did say yes to everything:
"He's a mis-leading man!"
UPDATE: Apparently the painting is simply called "Nude In A Landscape". Thanks, RedScharlach! Everybody go and buy her stuff.
It's called Nude in a Landscape, boringly enough. A better name would be Sunburned Thighs, or I've Left It Too Late To Get An Even Tan But Have Decided To Style It Out.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteLooks like he's not so much saying 'yes' but rather an enormous middle finger to the art establishment ...
ReplyDeleteIs it too glib to characterise the art establishment as very 'no' though?
ReplyDeleteWhat do we think - Marie Osmond performing Karawane at the beginning of the Dali clip, or an earlier version?
